Without a precedent, I shall take the liberty of replacing the post that was scheduled for today (I'll put morning) for a critique of the Pope's statements on his trip through Africa.
According to the Pope:
... Condoms not only help fight sexually transmitted diseases like AIDS, if not that help them spread ...
Given these "surprising" statements, I can not transmit you my discomfort. We've spent years fighting AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases, investing much time and public money to inform and educate the world that the use of condoms (and other contraceptive methods) is essential to combat these diseases .... so now comes the Pope, the head of the Church, and tell us the opposite and also in a country as punished as Africa.
Honestly, regardless of my religion, I do not think at all or serious or even presentable. So take this space to convey my absolute outrage over the Pope's words.
